Sales Director – International Courier
Key Experience
1. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive background in international sales and business development within the courier and logistics industry.
2. Demonstrated success in formulating and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion is essential.
3. Proven track record of effectively establishing and managing business operations in diverse markets, particularly in the context of the China-India and China-Bangladesh trade corridors, will be highly valued.
Key Capabilities
1. Deep rooted understanding of global customs and regulatory requirements, coupled with the capacity to cultivate robust client relationships and enhance operational efficiency.
2. Ability to develop and present comprehensive business plans outlining client base, volume projections, key destinations in India, gross profit analysis, and sales strategies.
3. Experience in forecasting and achieving Gross Profit targets with potential expansion plans for sales teams over 1-3 years.
Responsibilities

2. Provide leadership and mentorship to the international sales team to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and attainment of ambitious sales targets.
3. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business expansion through thorough market research and analysis.
4. Oversee the establishment of new international courier operations, ensuring compliance with legal and logistical requirements.
5. Foster strategic partnerships and alliances with local service providers and authorities to facilitate business growth.
6. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, delivering exceptional customer service and promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
7. Manage the annual sales and business setup budgets, monitoring performance closely and making necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
8. Ensure compliance with international regulations and customs requirements, collaborating closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks effectively.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
4. Candidate must be under 45 years old and a local resident of Shanghai or Shenzhen.
