Cargo Sales Manager
Key Experience
1. Minimum 5 years of experience with an airline or airline GSA operating offices in Beijing and Shanghai within the China-India trade lane.
2. Proven track record of active sales involvement for the past 2 years with Master Co-loaders, freight forwarders, and direct shippers dealing with India shipments.
Key Capabilities
1. In-depth understanding of trade data between China and India, including commodities, volumes, consignees in India, and shippers in China.
2. Ability to develop and present comprehensive business plans outlining client base, volume projections, key destinations in India, gross profit analysis, and sales strategies.
3. Experience in forecasting and achieving Gross Profit targets with potential expansion plans for sales teams over 1-3 years.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the China-India trade lanes.
2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with Master Co-loaders, freight forwarders, and direct shippers.
3. Analyze market trends and trade data to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
4. Present and execute business plans, focusing on client expansion, volume targets, and profitability.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize service offerings and meet client needs.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
4. Candidate must be under the age of 45 years and must be a local resident of Shanghai or Beijing.
