MGH LOGISTICS CHINA IS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR DEDICATED CARGO SALES MANAGERS (GSA) TO JOIN US BASED OUT OF SHANGHAI OR BEIJING

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • THE CARGO SALES MANAGERS (GSA) WILL BRING IN CARGO FOR THE AIRLINES; AND PLAN AND MANAGE THE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF SALES COVERAGE.
  • DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT EFFECTIVE SALES STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE REVENUE TARGETS AND BUSINESS GOALS.
  • IDENTIFY AND PURSUE NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE CARGO AND LOGISTICS SECTOR.
  • CULTIVATE AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING AND NEW CLIENTS.
  • RESPOND TO CLIENT INQUIRIES, RESOLVE ISSUES, AND PROVIDE TIMELY AND ACCURATE INFORMATION.
  • STAY UP-TO-DATE WITH INDUSTRY TRENDS, MARKET CONDITIONS, AND COMPETITOR ACTIVITIES.
  • CONDUCT MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL CLIENTS AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
  • PREPARE AND DELIVER COMPELLING SALES PRESENTATIONS TO POTENTIAL CLIENTS.
  • CREATE AND SUBMIT COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, DEMONSTRATING THE VALUE OF THE CARGO SERVICES OFFERED.
  • ANALYZE MARKET TRENDS AND CUSTOMER DEMANDS TO FORECAST POTENTIAL REVENUE STREAMS.
  • DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN ACCURATE SALES FORECASTS AND BUDGETS.
  • COORDINATE WITH THE OPERATIONS TEAM TO ENSURE THE EFFECTIVE AND TIMELY DELIVERY OF CARGO SERVICES.
  • COMMUNICATE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS TO THE OPERATIONS TEAM.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT:
  • CONDUCT TRAINING PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE SALES TEAM.
  • ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT INDUSTRY REGULATIONS AND INTERNAL POLICIES.
  • PREPARE REGULAR REPORTS ON SALES ACTIVITIES, ACHIEVEMENTS, AND CHALLENGES FOR SENIOR MANAGEMENT.

Preferred Skills

  • THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE AN EXPERT IN SELLING CARGO SPACE AND AIR PRODUCTS FROM CHINA TO SOUTH ASIAN DESTINATIONS.
  • THEY SHOULD HAVE STRONG BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS WITH TOP/MID-LEVEL CHINESE FREIGHT FORWARDERS HAVING REGULAR AIR SHIPMENTS TO THE INDIAN CONTINENT.
  • HAVING A SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF THE FLEET (CARGO CONFIGURATION AS PER AIRCRAFT OR CARGO ACCEPTANCE) IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
  • HAS EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, STRONG NEGOTIATION SKILLS, AND SELF-MOTIVATION TO ACHIEVE NEWER HEIGHTS.

Qualifications

  • BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM A REPUTED UNIVERSITY.
  • 5-10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CARGO SALES IS NECESSARY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
